Zeitschriftendatenbank (ZDB)
is the most comprehensive reference for journals and serial collections with ownership records of German libraries. The ZDB records both printed and digital serials, but does not list the individual articles they contain.
HeBiS portal (registration with library card)
enables you to search several (supra)regional library catalogs of your choice and online interlibrary loan (only via ULB Darmstadt).
German National Library (DNB)
permanently collects and archives all German and German-language publications from 1913 onwards. All holdings are available to the public on site in Frankfurt and Leipzig.
Document delivery services / Interlibrary loan
With a document delivery service (e.g. Subito) you can order literature that you need quickly online from another library and have it delivered directly to your address. This is particularly useful for ordering academic articles. articles. Document delivery services are subject to a charge. The costs vary depending on the delivery service and the type of delivery. Normally, however, you should not have to pay more than approx. 10 euros. Interlibrary loan (only via ULB Darmstadt) is cheaper (2.00 euros).
